I was guided to make this essence on a Waxing Gibbous Moon in Capricorn on the 8 August 2014 - Lion’s Gate Portal. In the Southern Hemisphere we are coming to the end of Winter and heading into Spring, so this essence holds the energies of new beginnings. It was an unusually warm day with a gentle breeze and I was totally enveloped with the gorgeous aroma of these blossoms which reminded me of ‘marzipan’ ( I love marzipan!). This reminded me of Christmas, which then I sensed this essence hold energies of merriment, celebration, joy, giving, kindness to one another especially children, just generally feeling excited about life. The gentle breeze was symbolic of, ‘gentle winds of change’ - that propel you on to a new path for the better in a beautiful supportive and nurturing way.
A waxing gibbous moon in Capricorn blends the energetic momentum of the moon building toward fullness with Capricorn’s earthy, disciplined, and pragmatic focus. It symbolizes the "last-mile" push and Capricorn energy acts as an anchor for your desires. Plus having been guided to make this on such an auspicious day, Lion’s Gate Portal, this is when the Sun was in Leo, Earth and the Star Sirius aligned.
In 2014, this cosmic window carried unique weight because it coincided with Jupiter entering Leo, intensifying themes of luck, expansion and high frequency manifestation.
